Maybe the "gender bias" in science, in which women are not encouraged to study the "harder" disciplines, no longer exists.
I have never really seen such bias, in my 30+ years in "hard science". If anything, my colleagues and I have encouraged women to study more math, statistics, .......
Let's hope that these researchers are correct.
