# R Animations for Teaching Statistics

November 05, 2008

[Here](http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/animation/index.html) is a neat R package that can be used to create animations for teaching a wide variety of topics in statistics: survey sampling, bootstrap, probability theory, just to name a few.

Also, for those not as interested in implementing the animations directly in R, there's also a [web page](http://animation.yihui.name) with everything already done for you!
