#  Racial bias in basketball?

The [New York Times](http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/02/sports/basketball/02refs.html) has an article discussing a working paper by Justin Wolfers and Joseph Price, looking at the rate at which white referees call fouls on black players (and black referees call fouls on white players). The paper can be found [here](http://bpp.wharton.upenn.edu/jwolfers/Papers/NBARace.pdf). I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but if it uses "multivariable regression analysis" as it says in the Times article, then I'm sure it must be good.
